Commentary: The devil is the idea that I can be separated from Creator. This devil thought is in opposition to Creator’s because it perpetuates the lie that I created myself. Everything that I have made will dissolve in the light of truth. The truth of my creation by Divinity is the only foundation that can’t be shaken. The Aramaic understanding of the story of Nicodemus is that Jesus tells him that he must return (not to mother womb) but to the first beginning (starting point). My one, true self, made by Creator is still at peace even though my mind is in conflict. Going back to the beginning I will feel the destruction of the thought system I made. I think the foundation the ego made by “eating the fruit” is the real foundation. Approaching the beginning, light shines from the true foundation and my own false foundation will be corrected.
